The earth is quiet.
Its heart beats strong with expectation.
Rising behind the slumbering mountains,
The sun gently kisses the earth awake.
Nature’s sleepy eyes glow with reflective love.
One by precious one, nature’s pets leave their beds and greet the morning.
Like an orchestra tuning up, first one, then another call.
All creation rises and joins as one.
And they sing their praises to God their Song of Morning.
